The purpose of Amy Joe Jim Bob is to share the adventure of our love, our lives… and our dances in the kitchen. By sharing ideas and encouragement, personal stories, recipes and more, we hope to help inspire and encourage you in this gift from God called “life.”
At the same time, we believe it’s perfectly okay for us to be paid for the time and effort put into this blog. We have a number of costs associated with running the blog — hosting, blog themes, design, photography, and more. So sometimes when you, download a free ebook or sign up for a freebie, we earn a small kickback from the manufacturer. We also accept paid advertising on the blog’s sidebar and use affiliate links on posts when they are available.
However, because our integrity is much more important than making a quick buck, we always seek to have our readers’ best interests in mind first and foremost. If it doesn’t benefit you, we won’t post it — no matter how much someone is willing to pay us to do so. We do not charge for giveaways and we will not run sponsored posts, because we will not post content that someone else has paid us to post.
On occasion, we may accept opportunities to write an underwritten post or series. However, we will only accept this type of opportunity when it is a post or series which will help our readers first, the topic(s) fits well within the parameters of the blog and we’re not asked to include specific content in our posts. Like many of our favorite fellow bloggers, this is our own personal policy so that you can know that you are getting authenticity when you read our blog.
Our readers are our first priority. We want you to be able to trust wholeheartedly that the content you find on Amy Joe Jim Bob is not influenced by money. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are solely ours and we do my best to always be honest and forthright in what we share.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please drop us an email. We know we can’t please everyone, but we want to live with integrity so we always welcome your input and constructive criticism.
